Overview

The Advantech UTC-515 is the rugged member of the UTC touch-computer range, engineered for demanding environments where standard indoor terminals can't survive. Unlike front-panel-only sealed units, the entire system is rated IP66/69K — fully protected against powerful water jets, high-pressure washdown and dust ingress. A stainless-steel, anti-corrosion enclosure, waterproof M12 connectors on all I/O, a wide 11–32V input and a wide −10 to 50 °C operating range make it suited to food and beverage, industrial, transport, marine, outdoor-adjacent and clinical settings. It runs a 15.6″ Full HD 16:9 projected-capacitive display with onboard Intel processing, so it drives your application directly without a separate player.

Onboard Computing with Your Choice of OS

The UTC-515 is a complete, fanless computer with the processor built in. Choose an Intel Core i5-1145G7E for higher performance, or an Intel Celeron J6412 for lower power — with up to 64GB of DDR4 memory (i5) and flexible storage via 2.5″ SATA and M.2 slots. It supports Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Linux Ubuntu across both models, with Android 12 additionally available on the Celeron version, so you can standardise on whichever platform your application requires.

Rugged, Sunlight-Readable Touch Display

The 15.6″ Full HD (1920×1080) 16:9 display uses a hardened 7H projected-capacitive glass panel with wide 178°/178° viewing angles and up to 88% light transmission. Standard brightness is 500 nits, with a 1000-nit sunlight-readable option for bright ambient or outdoor-facing locations, plus optional anti-reflective / anti-glare / vandal-proof cover glass treatment. Optional build-in camera, LED indicator and light sensor extend it for interactive and adaptive-brightness applications.

Sealed Connectivity and Remote Management

All I/O uses waterproof M12 connectors to preserve the IP66/69K seal: dual Gigabit Ethernet with Wake-on-LAN, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, and 2× RS-232/422/485 COM. An optional waterproof Wi-Fi solution provides sealed wireless connectivity, and LTE is available via an optional M.2 B-Key module with Nano-SIM. The UTC-515 supports Advantech DeviceOn/iService for remote monitoring, control and over-the-air updates across Windows, Android and Linux devices, managed from a single dashboard.
