A 15.6" Full HD touchscreen terminal built on Intel's Twin Lake N150 processor, fanless throughout and sealed to IP65 at the front panel. Designed to sit on a counter, in a kiosk or on a wall and simply keep running, in the kind of environments where a standard all in one PC would not last the year.

Fanless build, IP65 front panel

The RIVAR-1539-B1 is fully enclosed with no system fan, so there is no moving part to clog with dust, no filter to service and no intake to draw in grease or fibres. The front panel carries an IP65 rating, meaning the touch surface can be wiped down as often as the site requires without concern for ingress. It measures 390 x 247 x 42 mm, weighs 2.5 kg and is available in black or white, slim enough to integrate into existing enclosures and light enough for straightforward wall or arm mounting. Power comes from a single +24V DC feed via a 60W adapter, with an operating range of 0°C to 40°C and validated shock and vibration performance to IEC 60068 standards.

Intel Twin Lake N150 performance

The platform runs Intel's Twin Lake N150 quad core processor with Intel UHD Graphics, paired with 8GB of onboard LPDDR5 memory and 128GB of eMMC storage. That is enough headroom for Full HD media playback, a modern browser based POS front end and a signage client running together, while staying within a thermal envelope that allows passive cooling. TPM 2.0 is fitted as standard, which keeps the door open for Windows 11 estates and for the device attestation requirements that increasingly accompany payment and healthcare deployments. Windows 10, Windows 11 and Linux are all supported.

Touchscreen capabilities

The 15.6" Full HD panel resolves 1920 x 1080 at 350 cd/m² brightness with a 1500:1 contrast ratio and 89° viewing angles in all four directions, so content stays readable to someone approaching from the side. Projected capacitive multitouch with a 25 ms response time gives the immediate, phone like feel that self service users now expect, and unlike resistive alternatives it stands up to heavy public handling. LED backlighting and a 0.179 mm pixel pitch keep text crisp at close reading distance.

Connectivity for real installations

Dual Gigabit LAN on Realtek RTL8125BG controllers allows a segregated payment network alongside a general LAN, or simple redundancy. Four USB 3.0 ports handle scanners, printers, card readers and cash drawers, while two COM ports cover the legacy peripherals that self service estates still rely on. An HDMI output drives a second customer facing screen from the same terminal, and Realtek ALC897 audio with two 2W built in speakers plus a line out jack covers prompts, alerts and queue calling. Optional 802.11 a/b/g/n/AC WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 are available via the internal module slot where cabling is not practical. Certified to CE, FCC, UKCA and VCCI.
