Overview

The Elo 1504LS is a 15-inch Full HD touchscreen that's built to hold up in the places screens usually take a beating — retail counters, kiosks and self-service points. The panel is optically bonded, so the image looks sharp and sits right up against the glass, and the slim, narrow-bezel design means it doesn't dominate a countertop. It comes with a three-year warranty and Energy Star 8.0 certification as standard, and it's a natural fit for POS, HMI, interactive signage and self-service setups.

Single-Cable USB-C Connectivity

One of the nicest things about the 1504LS is that everything runs through a single USB-C cable — touch, video and power all on one lead. That keeps installation tidy and makes it easy to drop into tight spaces, and it pairs neatly with the optional Elo Pay 7" payment unit if you want to turn it into a compact, all-in-one till point. It's also easy on running costs, drawing only around 8W in normal use thanks to USB-C power delivery and its Energy Star rating.

Optically-Bonded Touch Display

The 1920 x 1080 panel gives you crisp Full HD detail, and because the touch layer is optically bonded there's less glare and no visible gap behind the glass. The TouchPro projected-capacitive sensor handles up to ten touches at once and responds the way people now expect a touchscreen to. Low Blue Light technology, certified by TÜV Rheinland, takes the edge off eye strain over a long shift, and there are two 2W speakers built in so you don't need to add separate audio.

Built for Commercial Durability

This is a screen made for public-facing use. The front glass is chemically strengthened and scratch resistant, and the whole unit carries an IK07 impact rating, so it can take the knocks that come with everyday customer contact. Elo quotes a demonstrated MTBF of 50,000 hours, and the included 75mm VESA adapter gives you plenty of freedom to mount it on a wall, an arm or inside an enclosure.

Options and Extended Warranty

Every 1504LS comes with three years of cover as standard, and there's scope to extend that if you're deploying for the long haul. You can step up to four or five years, or add Advance Unit Replacement on three, four or five-year terms so a faulty unit gets swapped out quickly with minimal downtime. And for anyone building a point-of-sale setup, the optional Elo Pay 7" payment solution clips onto the monitor to make a complete, self-contained terminal.
