Giada D108 AMD Ryzen AI Book Size Signage Player with Quad 4K

The Giada D108 is Giada's most capable book size player, built on AMD Ryzen 8000 series processors with dedicated Ryzen AI acceleration. Four HDMI outputs each drive a full 4K display at 60 Hz with hardware EDID, memory runs to 96 GB of dual channel DDR5, and networking combines a 2.5 Gigabit and a Gigabit port. It targets 2x2 video walls, flagship retail and any install where four screens and on device inference need to come from one box.

Four Full 4K Outputs with Hardware EDID

All four HDMI outputs run at up to 3840 x 2160 @60 Hz. There is no reduced fourth port, so a 2x2 wall is genuinely matched across all four panels and screens can be moved between outputs freely. Hardware EDID holds the display configuration when a panel is powered down or unplugged, so the canvas does not collapse and rearrange itself after a power cycle, which is the single most common failure mode on multi screen installs. Radeon 780M graphics on the Ryzen 7 8845HS, or Radeon 760M on the Ryzen 5 7640HS, handle 8K H.265 and VP9 decode and 8K AV1 encode, giving substantial headroom when four 4K zones are running simultaneously.

Ryzen AI Acceleration

The Ryzen 7 8845HS build carries AMD's Ryzen AI engine with a dedicated 16 TOPS NPU and 38 TOPS across the whole platform, the highest AI throughput of any player in the Giada range. Audience measurement, gesture interaction, occupancy counting and content personalisation all run locally, so no video leaves the site and there is no per device cloud inference cost. Eight cores and sixteen threads on the 8845HS, or six cores and twelve threads on the 7640HS, sit behind up to 96 GB of DDR5-5600 across two SO-DIMM slots in dual channel, with an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot for storage.

Connectivity and Continuous Operation

Networking uses two separate controllers on two different speeds: an Intel i226-V providing 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and a Realtek RTL8111H providing Gigabit, so you can push 4K content over the fast link while keeping management traffic separate. An M.2 E key 2230 slot accepts Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6E, with the Intel AX210 available, and a B key M.2 3042 or 3052 slot with SIM accepts a Quectel EM05 4G module. I/O covers five USB3.2 Gen2 ports, one USB2.0, an RS232 DB9 port with a second available as an option, microphone in and audio out, plus a Kensington lock slot. A hardware watchdog timer, auto power on and a programmable weekly RTC scheduler keep it running unattended, with optional TPM 2.0. Cooling is by smart fan with active thermal management, appropriate to the 45W base power, so allow for ventilation and specify a fanless model for noise sensitive rooms. Rated 0°C to 45°C at 10 to 90% humidity.
