The Giada D614 is a book size player built on Intel Raptor Lake Refresh with a 5G capable modem slot. Four HDMI outputs drive four 4K displays as standard, with an alternative build offering 8K over DisplayPort, in a chassis just 26 mm deep. It suits transport hubs, outdoor advertising enclosures, pop up retail and any site where running a fixed line is impractical or uneconomic.

Four 4K Outputs, or 8K over DisplayPort

The standard build provides four HDMI outputs, each running up to 4096 x 2304 @60 Hz, with all four equal so a matched 2x2 wall has no weak port and screens can be moved between outputs freely. An alternative build swaps this for two HDMI outputs plus a DisplayPort 1.4 output carrying a full 7680 x 4320 @60 Hz 8K canvas, suited to large format LED walls fed as a single signal. Hardware decode covers 8K 60fps 12 bit 4:2:0 HEVC, VP9 and SCC, so 8K assets play natively rather than being downscaled. Intel Graphics supports DirectX 12.1, OpenGL 4.6 and OpenCL 3.0.

5G Ready Connectivity

A B key M.2 3042 or 3052 slot with SIM slot accepts a Quectel RM500Q 5G module, or a Quectel EM05 for 4G, with two antenna positions provisioned. Cellular capability is unusual at this size and price point, and it opens up digital out of home sites, transport displays and temporary installations where a fixed line is either impossible or disproportionately expensive. Wired networking is a single Intel i219-LM Gigabit port, and an M.2 E key 2230 slot accepts Wi-Fi 5, 6 or 6E with the Intel AX201 and AX210 available.

Performance and Continuous Operation

Two processor options are available: the Core 3 100U with six cores and eight threads, and the Core 5 120U with ten cores and twelve threads, both at 15W base power. Two SO-DIMM slots run DDR4-3200 in dual channel, and storage is an M.2 2280 slot running PCIe 4.0 x4. I/O covers one USB Type C 3.2 Gen2, one USB3.2 Gen2, two USB2.0, one RS232, a combined headset jack and a Kensington lock slot. A hardware watchdog timer, auto power on and a programmable weekly RTC scheduler keep the player running unattended, with optional TPM 2.0. Rated 0°C to 45°C at 10 to 90% humidity, 19V DC in at 4.74A.
