The Giada DF614 is the flagship fanless player in Giada's Intel range. A DisplayPort output runs a true 8K canvas at 7680 x 4320 @60 Hz, two HDMI ports drive 4K screens alongside it, and two memory slots allow dual channel operation. It has no fan at all, so it delivers this performance in complete silence, which is unusual at this level and suits flagship retail, corporate reception, control rooms and large format LED installations.

True 8K Output over DisplayPort

The DisplayPort output carries a full 7680 x 4320 @60 Hz signal, with hardware decode for 8K 60fps 12 bit 4:2:0 HEVC, VP9 and SCC content, so an 8K asset plays natively rather than being downscaled. Two HDMI outputs run alongside at up to 4096 x 2304 @60 Hz each, giving three displays in total. That combination lets a single player feed an 8K canvas to a large format LED wall while driving two conventional 4K screens from the same unit, which normally requires two players or an external splitter.

Dual Channel Memory and PCIe 4.0 Storage

Two SO-DIMM slots run DDR4-3200 in dual channel, the only unit in Giada's signage range with a second slot, which roughly doubles memory bandwidth against the single slot F108D and F109D. That matters for multi zone HTML5 layouts, live data dashboards and anything decoding several streams at once. Storage is an M.2 2242 or 2280 slot running PCIe 4.0 x4. Two processor options are available: the Core 3 100U with six cores and eight threads, and the Core 5 120U with ten cores and twelve threads, both at 15W base power.

Connectivity and Continuous Operation

Two Gigabit Ethernet ports use separate controllers, an Intel i219-LM and a Realtek RTL8111H, allowing a redundant path or genuine separation of content delivery from device management. An M.2 E key 2230 slot accepts Wi-Fi 5, 6 or 6E, with the Intel AX210 and AX211 available, and a B key M.2 3042 slot with SIM accepts a Quectel EM05 4G module. I/O is the most generous in the range: one USB Type C, four USB3.2 Gen2 at 10 Gbps, two USB2.0, one RS232 and one configurable RS232, RS422 or RS485 port for industrial and AV control equipment. A hardware watchdog timer, auto power on and a programmable weekly RTC scheduler keep it running unattended, with optional TPM 2.0. Fully fanless in a metal chassis, rated 0°C to 45°C at 95% humidity.
