Giada F108D Intel Book Size Digital Signage Player

The Giada F108D is a compact book size signage player built on Intel's Twin Lake and Alder Lake-N processors. Three display outputs all run at full 4K @60 Hz, dual Gigabit Ethernet allows network redundancy or segregation, and at 26 mm deep it hides behind almost any screen. Giada positions this one specifically as a signage player rather than a general embedded computer.

Triple 4K Output on Every Port

Two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort each drive a display at up to 4096 x 2160 @60 Hz. There is no reduced secondary output, so all three screens carry identical capability and displays can be moved between ports without reworking your layout. Intel UHD Graphics supports DirectX 12.1, OpenGL 4.6 and OpenCL 3.0, which is ample for HTML5 content, looping video and multi zone layouts.

Fanless on the N150 and N100

The N150 and N100 builds are fully fanless at 6W, with no moving parts to clog, seize or fail, and are supplied under the F108D-FV order codes. The N97 build runs at 12W and is supplied under a separate F108D-NU code, so specify N150 or N100 if the install is noise sensitive or dusty. All three share the same metal chassis at just 26 mm deep, which is 6 mm slimmer than the F109D and matters when mounting behind a wall recessed screen.

Connectivity and Continuous Operation

Two Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit Ethernet ports allow a redundant network path, or separation of content delivery from device management. An M.2 E key 2230 slot accepts a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, with Intel Wireless-AC 9560, Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Wi-Fi 6E AX210 available, and a B key M.2 3042 slot with SIM accepts a Quectel EM05 4G module for sites without a fixed line. Storage is an M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD. I/O covers two USB3.2 Gen2, four USB2.0, two RS232 ports, microphone in and audio out. A hardware watchdog timer, auto power on and programmable RTC scheduler keep it running unattended, and a Kensington lock slot deters removal in public areas. Rated 0°C to 45°C at 95% humidity.
