Giada F109D Fanless Intel Embedded Signage Player

The Giada F109D is a fanless book size player built on Intel's Twin Lake and Alder Lake-N processors. Three display outputs all run at full 4K @60 Hz, dual Gigabit Ethernet supports network redundancy or segregation, and it runs Windows 11, Ubuntu or ChromeOS Flex. It suits corporate, retail and transport installs where x86 compatibility and centralised management matter.

Triple 4K Output with No Compromise

Two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort each drive a display at up to 4096 x 2160 @60 Hz. Unlike many three output players there is no reduced secondary port here: every output carries the same full 4K @60 Hz capability, so a three screen install has no weak link and screens can be swapped between ports without recalculating your layout. Intel Graphics on the N150, or Intel UHD Graphics on the N97 and N100, supports DirectX 12.1, OpenGL 4.6 and OpenCL 3.0.

Windows, Linux or ChromeOS Flex

The F109D is validated for Windows 11 64 bit, Ubuntu Linux 64 bit and ChromeOS Flex. That last option matters for fleets: ChromeOS Flex turns the player into a centrally managed endpoint in the Google Admin console, giving you remote reboot, URL locking, device policy and fleet reporting without a third party management layer. Windows 11 licensing is available as an option, and TPM 2.0 can be specified for estates with security baselines to meet.

Connectivity and Continuous Operation

Two Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit Ethernet ports allow a redundant network path, or separation of content delivery from device management. An M.2 E key 2230 slot takes a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, with Intel Wireless-AC 9560, Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Wi-Fi 6E AX210 all available, and a B key M.2 3042 slot with SIM accepts a Quectel EM05 4G module for sites with no fixed line. Storage is an M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD, with 32 GB or 64 GB onboard eMMC optional. I/O covers two USB3.2 Gen2, four USB2.0, two RS232 ports, microphone in and audio out. A hardware watchdog timer, auto power on and programmable RTC scheduler keep it running unattended, the fanless metal chassis has no moving parts to fail, and a Kensington lock slot deters removal in public spaces. Rated 0°C to 45°C at 95% humidity.
