Full HD on a 15.6 Inch Rear Mount Panel

The Sureview SVRTL153 is a 15.6 inch rear mount SAW touch monitor, built to be fixed from behind a kiosk or cabinet fascia with the touch glass presented through the panel opening. Its active matrix TFT LCD with LED backlight runs at a native 1920 x 1080 resolution in a 16:9 format, rated at 400 cd/m² (375 cd/m² through the touch glass) with an 800:1 contrast ratio and 170 degree viewing angles. The SAW touchscreen is a single sheet of glass with ≥90% light transmission, and anti-glare or vandal-resistant glass is available as an option. It carries a 50,000 hour MTBF rating and a 3 year warranty.

SAW Touch Over USB and RS232

Surface acoustic wave touch gives accurate, drift-free single-touch input and draws little power, and the controller connects over either USB or RS232 so it can be paired with current PCs or serial-only equipment. Video comes in over VGA and HDMI, and the power, auto, menu and adjustment buttons for the on-screen display sit on the rear of the unit, out of reach once installed. Touch response is around 10.4 ms. VGA and USB cables (1.5 m) are supplied. The ordering code is RTL153-RS4000-CH4200-1.0.

Where It Works Best

The SVRTL153 mounts from the rear on VESA 75 x 75 mm or side brackets, with an outline of 376.8 x 221.1 x 50 mm and a net weight of 4.5 kg. It runs from a 12V DC supply, drawing up to 25W, and is rated for 0°C to 40°C operation. Approvals listed for the model are CCC, CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS. It suits self-service terminals, ticketing and vending machines, financial equipment, rail transit, industrial control and interactive digital signage.
