Details

16:3 Bar Format at 1366 x 238

The Sureview SVOTB163 is a 16 inch bar-type touch monitor: a stretched 16:3 panel with a native resolution of 1366 x 238, much longer and shallower than a standard 16:9 screen, and one of a range of 12, 15, 16 and 19 inch bar-type models. The TFT LCD is rated at 400 cd/m² with a 3000:1 contrast ratio and 178 degree viewing angles. Its controller board accepts the native 1366 x 238 signal directly, so content fills the full width of the screen without scaling to a conventional format.

10 Point PCAP Touch, Plug and Play

The 10 point projected capacitive touchscreen is covered by tempered, IK07 rated glass with ≥83% light transmission, and an anti-glare finish is optional. It is plug-and-touch over USB, needing no special driver, and responds in around 8 ms. Video comes in over DisplayPort and HDMI, so it connects to any standard PC, and the power, auto, up, down and menu buttons for the on-screen display sit on the rear of the unit. The ordering code is OTB163-RC5000-UD4500-1.0.

Where It Works Best

The SVOTB163 fixes by brackets (see the dimensional drawing), with an outline of 457 x 120 x 47.8 mm. It runs from a 12V DC supply, drawing up to 20W, is rated for 0°C to 40°C operation and carries a 50,000 hour MTBF and a 3 year warranty. It suits gaming machine button decks, shelf-edge and promotional strips in retail, menu and price bars, and narrow openings in kiosks and vending machines.
