R1500 J-Type Curve, Portrait 4K UHD

The Sureview SVOTJ557 is a 55 inch curved touch monitor with an R1500 J-type curve (measured radius 1492 mm), built for portrait installation. Its 4K active matrix TFT LCD with LED backlight runs at a native 3840 x 2160 resolution, rated at 550 cd/m² with a 4000:1 contrast ratio and 178 degree viewing angles. In portrait the curve gives an immersive picture from top to bottom of the screen. The closed frame with its plastic back cover (lighter and lower cost) lets the display float on the face of a cabinet on VESA or hinge mounts. A version with a tighter R800 curve is also listed.

PCAP Touch With Four-Sided RGB LED Lighting

The 10 point projected capacitive touchscreen follows the curve behind IK07 strengthened glass with ≥83% light transmission and connects over USB. Multicolour RGB lighting is fitted as LED strips on all four sides, visible from the front, edge and rear, evenly lit without hot spots or dark corners and sealed against light leakage; it runs from its own 12V DC input and can be driven by an optional external LED controller. Video comes in over dual HDMI and DisplayPort, and the power, auto, up, down and menu buttons for the on-screen display sit on the rear. A version without LED lighting is available as the SVOTJ555. The SVOTJ557 fixes on VESA 600 x 400 mm, with an outline of 769 x 1279.6 x 200.8 mm and a net weight of 34 kg. It runs from a 24V DC supply, drawing up to 150W plus 40W for the lighting, is rated for 0°C to 40°C operation and carries a 50,000 hour MTBF and a 1 year warranty. It suits casino and amusement gaming cabinets, as well as kiosks and vending machines that call for a distinctive curved screen.
