IP55 Rated for Sheltered Outdoor Positions

The Sureview SVFSTV750-S is a 75 inch outdoor television rated IP55, protected against dust and against low pressure water jets from any direction. That covers rain, damp and the general weather a courtyard, pergola or covered terrace throws at it, and it is the sensible specification wherever the screen has some shelter overhead. For a fully exposed position with no cover, or anywhere subject to pressure washing, specify the SVFSTV750-W equivalent instead. At 75 mm deep and 42 kg it is slimmer and considerably lighter than the IP65 version, which makes for a far easier install and a lighter load on the supporting structure.

1500 cd/m² for Bright Daylight

The backlight runs at 1500 cd/m², around five times a domestic television, so the picture stays watchable in daylight and under bright ambient conditions rather than washing out the moment it leaves the living room. An intelligent brightness sensor adjusts output to the surroundings, saving power at night. The panel is industrial grade wide temperature liquid crystal that does not blacken under direct sunlight, with an anti glare hard coated surface at 25% haze to cut reflection from sky and surroundings.

Google TV Built In

It runs Google TV on a quad core ARM Cortex-A55 at 1.53 GHz with 2GB of memory and 64GB of storage, giving direct access to Google Play, Netflix, YouTube, Facebook and the rest of the app ecosystem, alongside a DVB-T2 and S2 tuner for broadcast and satellite. Three HDMI inputs are provided with ARC on the first and 4K support across all three, plus two USB ports, optical audio out, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth. Two 15W speakers are built in. The panel is 4K at 3840 x 2160 with 1.07 billion colours, 72% DCI-P3 gamut and a 6 ms response time, so live sport holds together without smearing.

Installation and Applications

At 42 kg it steps up to a 600 x 400 VESA pattern with M8 fixings, and needs a rated bracket and a structural fixing rather than a masonry plug. It suits a sports bar terrace, an amusement park queue line, a stadium concourse, a hotel courtyard or a transport interchange where the screen is read from ten metres or more. The cabinet is black with a 20 mm bezel all round, 75 mm deep, drawing a maximum of 348W. Operating range is -10°C to 50°C at 10 to 85% humidity.
