Introducing our own brand Sureview’s new 55″ AI golf swing analysis kiosk.
The SVG500 is a freestanding kiosk with a built-in camera, on-board motion analysis and an Android media player, developed for driving ranges, golf clubs, gyms, hotels and venues that want an interactive attraction people actively queue for. A visitor steps into the capture zone, takes a normal golf swing, and receives a scored breakdown of that swing measured against professional reference data — with the drills to improve it. There is no wearable, no launch monitor, no app to download and no member of staff needed to run it.
As part of our own Sureview Commercial Displays range, the SVG500 is specified and supported in-house, giving customers direct access to customisation, configuration and technical support throughout the life of a deployment. It joins our wider kiosk solutions and touchscreen display ranges.
A Golf Coach That Runs Itself
Most golf technology placed in a public space needs somebody to operate it. A coach has to be booked, a launch monitor has to be calibrated, a sensor has to be strapped on. The SVG500 removes all of that. The camera does the measuring, the unit does the analysis, and the visitor reads their own result off the screen.
That single difference is what turns swing analysis from an appointment into an attraction. A golfer walking past sees a screen inviting them to swing, does it out of curiosity, and gets a number back within seconds. Analysis takes around four seconds from the end of the swing. As soon as they walk away the unit returns to its home screen, ready for whoever is next — so a queue moves at the speed of the people in it, not the speed of an instructor.
It is a fundamentally different proposition to a hitting bay. There is no ball to strike, no net to install and no run-out space to find, because the system analyses the movement of the body rather than the flight of the ball. That means the SVG500 fits indoors in places a simulator never could — a reception area, a lobby, a studio floor, a shop floor or a stand at a trade show — and it works with a practice swing, so nothing is hit and nothing is at risk.
Automatic Stance and Posture Detection
Before the unit records anything, it checks that the golfer is ready. On-screen calibration gates confirm the body is fully in frame, the shoulder line is level, the golfer is facing the screen, both hands are on the grip and the arms are extended. Each gate ticks green as it is met, and recording only begins once the stance is held steady. The result is a consistent, repeatable capture from every user, however experienced they are, without anyone having to position them by hand.

Eight-Phase Swing Analysis
Skeletal tracking reads body angles frame by frame throughout the motion — shoulder rotation, shoulder tilt, spine tilt, hip rotation, lead arm extension and trail knee flex. The swing is then divided into its eight recognised phases: address, takeaway, backswing, top, downswing, impact, follow-through and finish.
Each phase is scored individually and plotted on a radar chart, then rolled into a single overall score with a plain-English verdict. Because the score is broken down rather than delivered as one figure, a golfer can see immediately which part of the swing is dragging the rest down — and a coach standing beside them has something specific to work with.
Side-by-Side Professional Comparison
The detailed analysis screen places the golfer’s own frame next to professional reference data at the matching point in the swing, with the difference between the two reported in degrees. Seeing a shoulder rotation ten degrees past where it should be, next to the frame showing where it should be, communicates more in two seconds than a paragraph of explanation. Users can step through the phase timeline and replay the comparison at any point in the motion.
The AI Training Guide
Scoring a swing is only half of the job. Once analysis is complete the SVG500 produces a training guide built around the single biggest fault it has found, named plainly, with the phase it sits in and the target range to train towards. An AI summary explains what is happening in ordinary language, followed by recommended drills with rep counts, sets and a one-line coaching cue for each. Short professional video clips matched to the fault sit underneath — a standard demonstration, a correction and a slow breakdown — and a diagnosis summary gives severity and priority, with the option to swing again or return to the results.
The guidance is rule-based rather than conversational, which means the same fault always returns the same, consistent advice — an approach that stands up to scrutiny when a member takes their result to a club professional.
Leaderboards That Bring People Back
Daily, weekly and monthly leaderboards track personal bests across everyone who uses the unit, with scores, ranking and best and worst marks displayed on a dedicated ranking screen. For a venue this is the part that converts a novelty into a habit: a visitor who scored 74 on their first attempt has a reason to come back and beat it, and a reason to bring somebody with them.
Built-In Android Media Player
The display is powered by a Rockchip RK3588 all-in-one board running Android 13, with an eight-core ARM processor, a 6 TOPS NPU handling the motion analysis on the unit itself, 8GB of DDR5 memory and 128GB of storage. Everything runs on the screen — there is no external media player, no separate PC and no additional box to power or secure. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, gigabit Ethernet and 4G give complete flexibility over how content is loaded and managed, and the unit is cloud connected for remote software and content updates across an entire estate. The same built-in player approach runs across our Touchscreen Android OS range.
Built for Continuous Public Use
When nobody is standing in front of it, the SVG500 does not sit idle. A standby attract loop plays swing demonstrations, skeletal tracking visualisations and product information to draw people in, and a single touch takes the visitor to the home screen. The unit is rated for 7/24/365 operation and switches between English and Chinese on screen.
A quick mode skips the demonstration and calibration walkthrough entirely, so users can go back to back at pace — the mode to run at an exhibition or on a busy weekend. Content across the standby loop and the interface can be managed remotely through our CMS management service, and our installation team handles siting, power and network on delivery.
Premium Freestanding Design
The unit is built around a white metal housing with an integrated LED light strip running down the edge of the screen, mounted on a freestanding base finished with a turf mat and an integrated club frame. Four locking castors mean it can be rolled front of house for a weekend and moved aside on a Monday, then locked in position for use. At 210kg it is a substantial, stable piece of hardware that presents as a premium fixture rather than a screen on a stand, and it operates across a 0°C to 50°C range in any normal indoor environment. It is CE, RoHS and FCC certified and carries a five-year warranty.
